*I recently inked a piece called "Talk to the Hand-Before I BITE!".Like all artist I want others to see my work so I posted the piece to some groups.ALL the groups accepted the piece but One-Comic Females..This happens very often when I submit to this group..I asked for a critique on why it was "declined".I received a message that stated if I didn't like it there-Ian-would escort me to the door.. WTF!!?? I asked for a critique!!
Please do me a favor-Stop by Comic Females and read the journal they have posted and then take time to read their complaint-vs-compliments..Here is a quote from that groups note to it's members:
"We don't get paid, and aside from our desire to make this a good community for everyone, we don't actually owe you personally a damn thing"..Comic Females,Ian...another quote there-"Jesus says "Don't be a Dick"..???
My Friends You will NEVER have something like that posted to Members at HEROES-VILLAINS-MORE!!
If you took the time to look at the group notes,comments,views,it's size and the way this group and many like it "judge" Artist then START THE MOVEMENT NOW!!

A Super contest to all stock MODELS of the female kind who are interested in a bit of small fame and fortune...and quite possibly...CASH PAYOUT depending on the responses I get from this setup.

As an amateur artist, it is difficult to get any correct pose in the works I am trying to create. So what is my problem? Simply this...

I have promised to a certain few, and have to myself, to do a REALISTIC PAINTING of one of my all time favorite FEMALE HEROINES...

I am searching for a female in order to create the scene I have in mind.

All I want at the present, is to hear from you...the fabulous female stock artists, and I want you to say "YES I AM INTERESTED!!!".

I am not sure as to what I want in the detailed blah blah technical setup of the scene...but. Right now I need one, very perfect model. One diligent model...One model who will really want to help to create this Amateur Masterpiece

I was inspired by two fantastic pencil artist here at DA who just gave me the the ole.."I gotta do something like that..." Inspiration.

Their names are withheld here at this time to protect the innocent...lol.

No, but seriously...they are my buds...and I wanted to tribute a painting to both of them for the inspiration and friendship.

Well, that depends on the responses I get here...Cash money is one...
My rights to paint you...and the satisfaction of knowing that you have just been painted by me, Mart D Chandler...The Amateur Artist.

The money is determined on how serious you are to get me the one pose I need later in the challenge....

Mart D Chandler the Amateur Artist.

Dealing with and attempting to create a new life for one's self is not necessarily an easy task. In my particular case it seems almost impossible to bear at times. Yet with the support and strengths of close friends and family, that impossible task becomes possible.  I deal with stress with my art. Some perhaps read the Bible while others take up gardening...but even with an escape into a world that occupies one's mind, it is so much better when a friend talks to you. Someone to just listen and not there to judge. I have acquaintances, no close friends. Not a buddy to hunt or fish with. Not a buddy to grill out with on weekends. I seem to seclude myself within my own world. I create a life from my mind that deals with the issues of everyday life...good and bad. In my mind I justify my actions through reasoning. I deal with life as if it were a fairytale. I seclude myself to protect myself. In my mind, I am happy. In reality, ... well, who can say I am not? Where would you be without dreams? I look forward to the final sleep because I truly believe that in that rest, my dreams become my reality.
